Cancellations & Tardiness

We firmly believe in the value of your time and make a conscious effort to avoid long waiting periods in the salon. Thus, out of respect for our clientele, your appointment is scheduled with accuracy and is reserved especially for you. Services for clients arriving more than fifteen minutes may be subject to cancelation.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. As such, we kindly ask that any changes or cancellations are made within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment. However, deposits are non refundable. Late cancellations may be subject to an additional fee of %50 of your service total. We understand that schedules change, but to make sure we have appointments available for other guests we strictly enforce this policy. If you cancel or reschedule after 48 hours, you will be charged 100% of the cost of your scheduled appointment. We understand that medical emergencies do happen, and we show sensitivity in such situations.

For us to accommodate you and other patrons on time, we respectfully ask that you be on time for your appointment. If you are running a few minutes behind, please contact us and we can hold your appointment for up to 10 minutes. After 11 minutes we reserve the right to cancel your appointment and enforce our %50 Cancellation Policy. If we are able to accommodate the lateness, we reserve the right to start other clients who are on time for their appointment. Again, we understand that medical emergencies do happen and we do show sensitivity in such situations.

No Call No Shows

Any appointment that a client fails to call and adjust or cancel will be considered a “no-show.” Any appointment that is cancelled without the requested 48hour’s notice may also be considered under this policy.

Discounts

Your birthday is a day to be spoiled by loved ones. Discounts are only to Previous guest. Please let Tosin know or put your birthday in your notes when booking you appointment.

Reserving Appointments

When reserving an appointment with us, we do require an active credit or debit card to secure the appointment. The card will not be charged unless our above- outlined Cancellation or Tardiness Policies are breached. By entering or giving us your credit card information at the time of booking, you agree to our cancellation terms of your card on file being charged if you cancel within 48 hours of the start of your appointment, miss your appointment time, are not prepared for your appointment (hair not taken down from a previous style, no DevaCut or Curly Cut prep), or do not show up.

Appointment reminders requesting you to confirm your appointment with us are sent via text message and email three days in advance of all appointments. We ask that you confirm your appointment via text by following the prompts from the confirmation message (the system will ask you to reply "Yes" to confirm your appointment). We require that all appointments be confirmed no later than 48- hours before the scheduled start time.

Should you need to cancel, reschedule, or make a change to your existing appointment, you may do so using our online system, by emailing us, or by calling and/ or leaving a voicemail at 813-438-2172. We are not responsible for cancellation requests attempted but not made, requests texted or requests sent to the wrong email address.

Curly Hair Styling & Cutting

Contrary to the belief, we do not use chemicals to help discover your curls!. Instead, we use our exclusive methods to help uncover, define and capture your true, natural curl pattern.   If your hair has been straightened and your natural curl pattern has been severely altered, please know that we are only able to bring out as much of a ripple/ wave as your hair allows; we do not use chemicals or fairy dust to make your hair curly. We work with the curl/ wave/ coil pattern you give us.  If you are interested in signature Curly Cuts or Hair Color services, there is a special way to prepare your hair. These are 2- step services: the first step is completed at home and the second step is completed in the salon by us. Failure to complete Step 1 at home and properly prepare your hair prior to your visit may result in your appointment being cancelled upon arrival, I  DO NOT specialize in detangling excessively matted hair. If you decide to come tangle YOU WILL BE CHARGED $100 additional to your service. Please note: none of our Curly Cuts, including the DevaCut™ is compatible with straightening your hair or hair that is straight. While the Prep is not required for Wash & Go’s and Curl Discovery services, for best results, we definitely recommend it.

Guests & Children

Due to limited space and for the comfort of all clients, guests, including children not being serviced are not permitted in the salon. Guests arriving with children will have the option to wait in the lobby while guest is being serviced or asked to reschedule their appointment and will be subject to our %50 cancellation policy.

For children between 13, we require one parent or guardian to stay during the duration of the appointment, with no additional children or guests. Our waiting area is very small and reserved for clients arriving early waiting to be serviced, and for staff breaks.

Unfortunately, the salon does not provide services for children under 13 years old. However, there is a “Mommy and Me option”. please continue reading.

The “mommy and me 1 on 1 class“ is where you will learn the best professional product and several protective hair styles to ensure healthy hair growth . The session includes an in-depth consultation with scalp exam , overview of the current products you’re currently using. You will receive tips and guidance on everything from how to properly wash your child’s hair to product recommendations and how to use them. You will also get a custom hair care plan based on your child’s specific hair needs to promote its growth and maintenance . As well as , easy to managed styles.

To ensure a proper thorough consultation, please be sure your child hair is detangled.

*However, this does NOT in lieu of a hair style only detailed information on how to style & maintain.

Pricing

All SALES , TRANSACTIONS/DEPOSIT, PRODUCTS  and SERVICES ARE NON-refundable

Pricing at Tosin Elizebeth Afro & European Hair Salon is based on the average amount it takes to perform the desired service, products used to complete the service and the level of skill required to perform the service. Prices listed may be increased based on length, density, preparation work performed by our staff, and if additional time or product are needed to perform the service. Prices are subject to change without notice. If you have specific questions on pricing, please inquire prior to being serviced. For color services, we are able to give close estimates only, not definite prices before the service is completed.
Cash gratuities are appreciated however, not required.

Service Guarantee

We pride ourselves on providing all clients with fantastic service and quality customer care. We are professional, highly- skilled and experienced, and will provide you with the best hair care services possible.

If you are not satisfied with the results of your salon service, due to a possible error by us, please contact the salon within 24 hours of your appointment. We will ask you to return to the salon for your hair to be visually assessed within 1 business days of your appointment and are able to provide a onetime complimentary adjustment within 2 business days of your appointment date if there is an error. However, We do not offer refunds on salon services.
We require deposits for ALL appointments. Deposits can be made via cash in person, or credit card via online invoice and the amount of the deposit will be applied toward the service total on the day of your appointment. To cancel or reschedule an appointment made after you’ve paid a deposit, you must contact us no less than 48 hours (2 days) before the scheduled appointment time. You may reschedule your appointment as much as you need to with the original non-refundable deposit 48hrs prior to you appointment . Afterwards, you forfeit your original deposit & another deposit will be due to book again. HOWEVER ,DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE BUSINESS ALL TRANSACTIONS ARE NON-refundable. NON-Transferable & cannot be transferred to a different date/service type/ products once appointments have been scheduled.

Deposits

Allergies, Medical Conditions, Medications

We kindly ask that you advise us of any illness, injury or changes to your health status prior to any services to be conducted. We cannot be held responsible if a client does not disclose pertinent health information.

Food & Drinks

Outside food is strictly prohibited in the salon. Additionally, we ask that clients not discard any outside food within the salon's trash receptacles.

Payment

WE REQUIRE 48 HOURS NOTICE VIA TELEPHONE OR EMAIL TO CANCEL APPOINTMENTS * HOWEVER, Deposit are NON-refundable, NON-Transferable & cannot be transferred to a different date/service type/ products once appointments have been scheduled.

Payment methods accepted at time of consultation: (Cash, Debit or Credit ).

We accept cash, Tosin Elizebeth Afro & European Hair Salon gift certificates, and all major credit and debit cards. We do not accept checks.
Disputes-  All Disputes will be challenged to the fullest extent. Disputer will be ban from future booking appointments , communication will be block from all platforms pending investigation. 
Privacy - Tosin Elizebeth Afro & European Hair Salon does not disclose client information. All celebrity, VIP and valued clients are confidential.
Cash gratuities are appreciated however, not required.

Hair Color & Chemical Services

We pride ourselves in our level of skill and the products we use, as the salon has kept long lasting relationships with our satisfied clients. Here are some tips that can make your service more successful: \Hair color Chemical Services can have varying results based on your individual hair. Each individual has a different underlying pigment weather its red, blonde, warm tones or cool tones the hair has to eat through the middle stages which usually are the red stages to get to the cool blondes and the cuticle can only open up so much at a time, with that is why going lighter is a process, have to wait for the cuticle to close to be able to open it up again to go lighter.

 It is extremely important that you make your stylist aware of any and all processes you have used on your hair in the past months. The following things have an effect on the hair: 

· Well water/hard water, 

· Boxed colors & dyes, porous bleached hair if bleached more than 2X in a month. 

Hair lightening is like getting a tan: you can’t go outside one time and expect to be the darker color you desire. It’s a process to slowly get there without burning your skin and the same is for the hair if you want to keep it healthy. 

I have been made aware by. A technician at Salon Tosin Elizebeth Afro & European Hair Salon  that I am choosing to receive Service I have made my stylist aware of all the processes and procedures I have used on my hair in the past few months to assist their assessment of my hairs current status and the process that I need to achieve my desired results. I realize this is very important information and that any information withheld regarding my previous processes will increase my chance of damage and the potential for unpredictable chemical reactions. 

Chemical processes may cause some damage to the integrity of my hair, there are products recommended to improve the health of my hair as well as maintain the results after the service. (Your stylist can recommend these products.) I am aware that my stylist has been trained in the service techniques and that they will do there absolute best to create the best results, I understand each person’s hair, their color and their cut varies person to person so my hair won’t look exactly like the picture shown but to the best my hair can do it will be comparable to the picture. 

Therefore as an ongoing basis I will not hold liable Salon Tosin Elizebeth Afro & European Hair Salon  or my stylist if the process has unexpected or undesired results. Signing this slip states that you agree to the terms and conditions discussed with you and your stylist and Salon Tosin Elizebeth Afro & European Hair Salon  is not responsible for results because every persons hair is different we cannot predict the tone it grabs until a test patch. If hair has red, black or fashion colors to begin with and you want to go lighter there is no guarantee the Color will bleach out of the hair, it’s a process it has to go through all stages before it reaches to the blonde (stylist will show you color wheel and the stages of lightening chart) we will not guarantee you will be lighter in one day, it will take a few appointments, so in the event your hair is not the color you expected you need to come back to continue the process, and Salon Tosin Elizebeth Afro & European Hair Salon  is not responsible to pay for the process of you going lighter, each appointment you will be charged as expected for the lightening color correcting process due to the cost of supplies and labor fees. I have read the terms and conditions above and by signing my name I agree to the service .I understand that my stylist is a certified technician who will try his or her best to create my desired results. I understand that the best way to assist my technician is to be clear about my requirements.

I understand that chemical treatments have different effects on different hair types and colors. I agree to hold the salon and the hair technician harmless in the event of unexpected or undesired results. I understand that any further alterations or corrections will be provided at my own expense.

 I have had the process and possible results adequately explained to me. I have been given the opportunity to make requests and ask questions.

 I understand that previous treatments and chemical services can continue to have an effect on my hair. It has been recommended to me that I fully disclose my previous treatments to my stylist prior to the treatment.

Client must also understand hair may feel dry, brittle, or mushy with the chance of breakage and that there will be more maintenance involving the care of her hair afterwards such as deep conditioning treatments and more use of professional products. This release exempts any satisfaction guarantees offered as blonde has very different results on different types/colors of hair. Client understands that bleach strips the hair of its protein and the option of going back to a darker color is not possible within the first couple weeks of bleaching.

  I understand that the chemicals may have unexpected and undesired effects on the metals in my jewelry. I verify that I have been given the opportunity to remove my jewelry, as well as a safe place to keep it for the duration of the treatment.

I understand the estimation given does not include any following visits due to fading or changing of color.

Shampoo Bowl and Chair System. The shampoo bowl and chair in our facility are part of a specialized system that is securely connected and cannot be removed or adjusted. This limitation is due to the design and installation of the equipment, which is intended to ensure the safety and efficiency of our services.
